Sony PS3 Blu-Ray Controller

Let’s get the important stuff out of the way first – The Sony Blu-Ray Controller is good quality and makes life much easier than using the pad. So if you use your PS3 to watch Blu-Ray or DVD then you probably want one.

The only reason th PS3 Blu-Ray Controller doesn’t get full marks is because it is cluttered with pointless buttons (why would you use the R1/2/3 or L1/2/3 buttons when you already have buttons for FF/RW and scene skipping for instance?). The lack of an obvious power button is also a bit of short coming (you can turn the system off as you would with a pad using the PS button, but a simple On/Off button would have been a useful use of one of those pointless buttons).

The Sony PS3 Blu-Ray Controller is exclusively for use with the PlayStation 3 system. This remote control uses Bluetooth wireless communication to operate playback of Blu-ray Discs (BD) and other types of disc media on the PlayStation 3 system.
